There is a room at MoMA in New York that I will never forget.
I walked in not knowing what I was about to feel. And somewhere in the stillness of that gallery, standing in front of Claude Monet's Water Lilies, I learned something that cracked my whole life open: Monet didn't begin that series until he was in his seventies. The work that would define him began in the chapter of life most people call late.
I walked out of that museum and I made a decision.
My name is Farren Monei Congress. I've built my career in high performance sales. From luxury cosmetics to placing staffing solutions with executive leadership at major corporations. I've spoken at Dreamforce, one of the world's largest enterprise conferences, and served on the planning committee for Dreamin' in Color, a Salesforce community conference built around diversity, equity, and belonging. I know what it means to build trust in a room and deliver with integrity.
I'm also a flight attendant which means I've seen a lot of the world and learned that the best ideas come when you finally sit still long enough to hear them.
And I'm a mother and a partner. My family is the heartbeat behind everything I'm building. I want my child to see what it looks like when someone decides, in the middle of everything, that it's not too late to start.
Monei's Lilies was born from that afternoon at MoMA. Named for the artist who gave me permission and the middle name I've carried my whole life.
